Picture: GEORGIA MATTSKIAMA’S Ss Peter & Paul Catholic School will be full of fun and games from 10am on Saturday for the school’s fete.

Held every second year, the fete acts as the school’s major fund-raiser for the year and is a date marked on the calendar of many in the community.

“The fete’s been going for decades and it’s become a big part of the school and the school year,” Ss Peter & Paul Parents and Friends Association president Nicole Regan said.

“It always gets a good turnout and it’s not just the school community that comes along, the wider Kiama community always seems to come and enjoy themselves as well.”

Along with the usual stalls, raffles, rides and activities that are present at each fete, this year’s event will feature a special occasion.

“We’ve been putting together a cookbook called Our Food Story, made up of recipes from past and present people who have been involved in the school and we’ll be launching it on the day,” Mrs Regan said.

“It’s something we’ve been looking forward to and it’s another great way to help with the proceeds going to the school as well.”

Armbands giving unlimited rides can be pre-purchased for $20 from trybooking老域名/107105 or bought on the day for $25.
