Forbes Learning Ladder director Raewyn Molloy said the money will be put to good use.

“The money is for the ‘Let there be heat’ initiative, which is about providing insulation heating in our outdoor classroom to support the needs of the after-school care children,” she said.

Approximately 10 children attend the after-school care program each day.

Ms Molloy wants to thank the Services Club for the generous donation.

“I’d like to thank the Club for their continued support of the community’s not-for-profit organisations and for giving us this funding to allow us to cater for the comfort needs of children,” she said.

“This will continue to provide for future generations.”

President of Forbes Services Memorial Club Wayne Richards said Forbes Learning Ladder is a regular beneficiary of the club and very deserving as they help nurture our future generation. “Kids are most important now days,” he said.

“We’re looking after our future.”
