Please don’t close the Lake caravan park

We are writing to you to please reconsider the decision to close the Lake Cullulleraine Caravan Park.

Our family, as well as many others we know, have been regular visitors of the caravan park and it has had a huge impact on our lives for over 32 years.

We have camped at the Lake Cullulleraine Caravan Park since the early 1980s and look forward to spending our holidays there with close family and friends, despite the eight-hour round trip from Adelaide – because we love it and can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

We remember the days when Bill and Marg Robbins managed the caravan park with all the love and care they put into it.

From Marg attending to incidents throughout the park as well as Bill keeping the grounds immaculate.

Rhonda and Graham Hards do a great job looking after it now and we’re all confident they will continue to do so.

There is nowhere like “The Lake” – from the tranquil surrounds to the breathtaking sunsets, it’s no surprise people keep coming back.

Our daughters, who have spent many years camping at the Lake growing up, want to bring their future families to Lake Cullulleraine to create their own memories.

We are devastated to hear the news that the Lake Cullulleraine Caravan Park may close down, so I urge you to please reconsider.

I’m sure it would only take a trip at Easter or Christmas time to the caravan park to see the happy, relaxed families and excited kids partaking in Easter egg hunts.

Please save the Lake Cullulleraine Caravan Park.
