Visiting team says they convened with a local ghost

Enthusiasts of the eerie returned thoroughly satisfied from a preliminary ghost tour of the Green Valley Farm museum on Tuesday, last week.

GHOST HUNTERS: Jason King and his family Blaze and Felicity were not disappointed after they arrived in Inverell on the hunt of local spectres.

Sydney-based ghost hunter, Jason King, and his family team, Blaze and Felicity arrived in Inverell last week and said they were almost immediately “hit left, right and centre” by experiences of the ghostly kind.

Mr King, who has been dabbling in the supernatural for some time said the opportunity to visit Inverell was very rewarding, reporting numerous encounters during their trip.

Blaze, who is an aspiring medium, said she had several encounters while on the ghost tour at Green Valley, which was attended by local enthusiast Alex Ribeiro and his family.

Alex said he is new to Inverell and had harboured a fascination with the heritage-inspired Green Valley museum.

He said while he is still slightly sceptical on the spooky front, the opportunity to experience the museum from an alternative perspective was rare treat.

Mr King and his team arrived in Inverell on a mission to assist a local household with its spiritual inhabitants and said the trip was well worth it.

“It was really amazing,” he said. “The people were just fantastic.”

Mr King believes the inhabitant was a young boy who was “happy to communicate” with him. He said he asked the ethereal anomaly a number of questions and found responses registering on his equipment.

The team uses a number of methods including voice recordings and photography to collate their ghost hunting data and translate their experience.

The Green Valley Farm’s Kathy Vickery said the hunt was a very interesting experience.

She said the museum has always been rather uncanny, particularly at night, and said the ghostly adventure provided an agreeable variety and hinted there could be more ghost hunts to come.

“It was really interesting,” she said. Mr King and his team returned Sydney with recordings, video and images of possible supernatural activity in Inverell.
